This place is awesome! The only reason why I’m giving it a 4 star review is because I was unhappy about the drink sizes comparing to the price. I felt like I finished my drink in 3 sips :( Otherwise, everything is great! The drinks are yummy and refreshing, food is great!!! And the services is really good as well! I loved the fact that they have so much Forrest Gump memorabilia since is one of my favorite movies.

Best burger value in San Diego. The Butter Burger is a great deal at regular price, but at $8 during happy hour, it’s a steal. I am a burger snob and I don’t normally love thin patties, but let me tell you, this burger was phenomenal. The salted and buttered bun was fantastic, and the patties were excellent quality and expertly seasoned. I’m incredibly annoyed with myself for not visiting here sooner! The staff was friendly, my wife loved her fried pickles and her corn skillet, and my root beer float was the perfect compliment to the burger. Stop reading my review now and go get yourself a 🍔!

We stumbled upon the Smoking Gun restaurant on a trip taken in September of 2024. The atmosphere was fun with a 1970/80’s decor and menus presented in Pee Cee folders. We had a breakfast sandwich and potato cake addition (might be only available for brunch on the weekends) that was so good! We flew into San Diego February 2026 and the first thing we thought of was to find this restaurant again to have the fantastic breakfast sandwiches! I hope they keep keep these on their menu. We will be back!

Great food, service, and a perfect place to watch the game! We loved the Chimichurri Steak Skewers (we came back 3 times for it) and loved their hard kombucha (they even served it in a nice wine glass for us). We watched 3 FIFA games and the management team was kind enough to change Fox and turn on Telemundo !! Highly recommend if you’re in downtown San Diego. We can’t wait to come back!

I came here on a Thursday evening, and the place was pretty busy. The service was awesome, and the energy was great. They’ve got plenty of seating, and a bunch of TVs playing different games. They also have a pool table, basketball, air hockey, and a few other games. The setup is fun, but the pricing is a bit much. Even getting a $5 card didn’t really get you through more than a round of basketball, which felt a little steep. That said, the vibe is solid. There’s always people in there, the service is great, and they’ve got a really good selection of drinks too. Overall, it’s a cool, laid-back spot to hang out, even if some of the game pricing could be better.
