I can’t say enough about the Marine room. This place is an absolute must when visiting TCI! Not only does this spot have the most gorgeous sunset views, but every single item on their menu is incredible. Easily the best lasagna I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is a 10/10. Highly recommend dining here, and I can’t wait to return my next visit to Turks!

My husband and I spent our wedding day dinner at the Marine Room and were blown away not just by the warm service but by the incredible food. We were greeted and promptly sat for our reservation and shortly after, we were brought some champagne for toasting. Thank you for making our night feel so special from the beginning! The grilled octopus from the lounge menu was especially memorable and we are already thinking of coming back next year for our anniversary just to have that dish again! We had the scallops and the lamb chops for our entrees and they were excellent as well. We had the sorbet trio to end the night and our sever brought us a slice of cake as a surprise to celebrate our wedding. My husband and I shared their cocktail called Rum Away with Me and I recommend it to pair with the richness of the lamb. Thank you to the staff at Marine Room for making our wedding day dinner so so special, your service and food are just as exceptional as the views from your restaurant. We will be back to celebrate so many more milestones because of how beautiful our time was here. You made our night so so special.

Went to a restaurant by the beach 🏖️ with my good girlfriends 🍴 that we booked online in advance to enjoy a beautiful meal. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous 😍, we just booked a little too late in the day. Everyone there was dressed up so beautifully, and we had such a happy and enjoyable time eating together 😃

First time here and was pleasantly surprised. We made reservation on OpenTable but it was for another date 😞. The host said there were seats at the bar but, fortunately, a table opened up on OpenTable. We were seated by the window. The sun was setting. You can still see beachgoers, kayakers, swimmers, and sunbathers through their panoramic window. We ordered pork ribeye capped, grill octopus, lobster roll, and chicken dish. The chicken was prob most interesting- had pate like meat layered with white meat. The drinks were good as well. Definitely recommend this place to watch the sunset and have a drink. The service was also great. Attentive but wasn’t intrusive. I was told that reservations for tables during King tide goes fast!

After not visiting for quite a while, we came back to celebrate Mother’s Day at The Marine Room — and honestly, this experience completely reminded us why this place has been such a San Diego classic for so many years. The week before, we stopped by the lounge area and had the lobster bisque, lobster entrée, and spring salad. Everything already felt much better than we remembered from a few years ago, so we decided to return again for Mother’s Day dinner in the main dining room. We booked a table for six right by the ocean, and the atmosphere was absolutely magical. Mid-April to mid-May is honestly one of the best times to come. Even with the May gray clouds, the sunset becomes even more dramatic — almost like an oil painting over the ocean. This time, our appetizers included the crudo and the BBQ tart, and both were a huge hit with everyone at the table. The salad dressings were also surprisingly memorable — fresh, balanced, and flavorful. We ordered both the spring salad and the Caesar salad. For mains, we tried the beef cheek pasta, an Italian-style cheesy risotto, and the ocean catch. The flavors were rich without feeling overwhelming. The wild mushroom side dish was so good that we ended up ordering an extra one for the table. Dessert was the chocolate pistachio cake, which looked extremely rich at first glance, but was actually perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. Everyone loved it. We also signed up for their special program, and they kindly surprised us with complimentary chocolates at the end, which made the evening feel even more thoughtful and special. Beautiful oceanfront setting, elevated food, and one of the most memorable sunset dining experiences in San Diego. Definitely feels like The Marine Room is in a really good place again.
