This place was recommended by someone, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere, was quiet, clean and the place was beautifully decorated. We sat inside, and the choice of colors for the decoration all complemented each other beautifully. The food was heaven. The staff, very kind and polite. I had the French Toast with bacon and blueberries and it was magical. I can't wait to get back here and taste their other food options.

Some of the portions are huge! Like the french toast logs I ordered, did I finish them? nope! They were pretty darn good! I would say shareable for 2-3 people for just that order alone. Maple bacon donuts, 10/10 says the kids. Kids liked their kids options & finished their dishes without complaints. Cute on the inside. There is outdoor seating. Parking can get tricky.

I'm rarely impressed. This spot really impressed me (and our group) We had a relative in town and so we scoured all the Hillcrest brunch spots for a quality experience, and decided on Great Maple. Although the parking is atrocious, but so is every other brunch spot in Hillcrest. We got smart and made a reservation the day before, but again, like every other brunch spot there is a wait; with the reservation we were seated within 10 minutes of our allotted time. Now on to the food: excellent! All five dishes we ordered were both large and delicious. I would highly recommend the chiliquillis (sp?). Ordered a double espresso and wow, better than any any big brand efforts. Tasted just like European coffees. It is quite pricey, but unlike many other places I've eaten at, you really get the value for your money. As far as the service, it was obvious the kitchen struggled a bit to keep up, but because the food was exceptional, they can take the time they need to make it perfect. We will absolutely go back, and I can't wait.

The food is all so delicious! It was exciting to order the maple bacon donuts! They were served so warm and fluffy, savory but sweet. 10/10. And the quiche of the day was YUMMY! We also ordered two mimosas (16 oz)- they have so many different flavors. It’s cute here, I recommend on a weekday since it gets super busy and parking is very limited.

No surprise this place was exceptional. Our server was attentive and friendly. My friend and I split the maple bacon French toast logs (their signature dish) and each ordered a side of eggs and chicken sausage. Everything was delicious. The brioche bread was not too dense. Paired with the blueberries and bacon was wonderful. We were able to book a reservation the day before, before the brunch rush.
