Omggggg this spot was incredible! The flavors of everything was amazing. My husband and I shared the 1/2 chicken & veggies + sausage pasta. The veggies were to die for. Even our baby couldn’t get enough of the carrot. Great portion to share! The service was outstanding. 10/10 from the moment we sat down. The staff was so friendly, so attentive, had the biggest smiles. The ambiance was so great for everyone, you could see everyone so happy because of the staff. Our server Marco or Marcus (I am pretty sure that was his name) absolutely exceeded our visit. Literally couldn’t have had a better meal. So much flavor!!! It’s rare to rave about the vegetables but they were to die for. Such great flavor with the chicken & pasta! Will def be back!!!

We had a wonderful experience at this lovely restaurant. The food was superb! The chef/owner personally described the specials and signature dishes to us in vivid detail. We’d never received such care and attention from a chef. It definitely elevated the experience. We settled on the lamb loin chops with fresh root vegetables, and the scallops with asparagus and a vibrant remoulade sauce, and both dishes were exceptional. The service was thoughtful and attentive throughout the meal, and the hostess/owner was friendly and welcoming. We can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. If we lived in the San Diego area, we would come back often.

5/5 all the way around! We loved the service, so friendly, and welcoming. We loved the food, even my 15 year old daughter, 16 year old friend, and 21 year old son, said this was the best Italian food they had ever had, which is saying a lot from these kids. The focaccia was so fresh, and the perfect accompaniment of oil and vinegar. We couldn't all decide, so we each ordered a dish and shared with each other. We had the Bolognese, the Chicken Tortellini, the Alfredo, and Prosciutto & Pear flatbread. So, so good!!! My son had 2 glasses of wine, and said even that was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND RoVino!

Three things you have to know about my favorite Italian place in San Diego’s Little Italy aka HarborView. (1) Rovino is @ 2034 Kettner Blvd, one block towards the ocean from India St, the neighborhood’s main drag, and it’s in “NORTHERN Little Italy”; the cross street is Grape! It’s right next to the Waterfront Bar & Grill, if you know that landmark. (2) Their “small bites” menu is delicious, affordable and generous (not so small). (3) Frank, the chef, and Rose, who does everything else (when they’re not busy) are very warm, friendly and married to each other and their wonderful little family restaurant. One more thing: they’re closed Mondays and Tuesdays. These owners give their staff a weekend! PS. RoVino is the joining of “Rotisserie (Chicken)” and “Vino” --just north of Grape 😘 Street. In addition to a nice wine list, they have a full bar. Try the mock tequila! Outdoor seating, too! PPS. Please tell me them I sent you!

Took my wife to this restaurant and drove from L.A. to eat there , food is GREAT , The service was is very good. The chef/Owner frank is very friendly and comes out to greet us. We will definitely be visiting this Restaurant again . Worth the money and the drive to Eat a Delicious Meal. I Highly Recommend this place if you take a drive to San Diego, you won't be disappointed.
