One Door North

We dined in the tent with a total of six guests. Our server was lovely and attentive. Food was good and portions were large. The s’mores dessert is cool looking but could be elevated. Decor is themed here and they do a nice job, however our table chandelier was missing a light bulb and the other bulbs were not the same. I’ve been here twice and recommend trying it.

From the moment I walked in I realized I was going for a unique experience. So many people where there. Seemed like the right place to go with hubby on Valentines Day. The beets salad was super tangy. A little bit too much for me. I loved that beets were in it though with the crunchiness of the kale was a treat. Then, was the salmon and mashed potatoes that were so nicely paired with the passionfruit drink. Yum! Loved the goat cheesecake. Thankful for Jardín who was a hostess helped out in the front. We appreciate you for taking pictures of us in the winter wonderland.

Early dinner for one at the bar. During happy hour (4 to 6pm) they have multiple cocktails ($12), wine ($7) and beer ($6) on special, as well as a selection of small plates. I had there riff on a smoked old fashioned that was very good, then a glass of Pinot noir with the crispy skin salmon with lemon and chive risotto and roasted asparagus - which was delicious! The ambiance is sort of an outdoor campfire chic and I have no reservations about recommending this restaurant and will vibe back again.

We ordered a selection of dishes including grilled meats, roasted vegetables, tacos, and a couple of house specials. The food arrived well-plated and fresh. The flavors were clean and balanced, with the grilled items having a nice smoky depth and the sides complementing everything nicely. Nothing felt too heavy, but the meal was still satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Everything was served in good timing, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout the visit. Overall, One Door North is a great dinner spot if you want modern American-style dishes, a relaxed atmosphere, and a well-rounded casual dining experience.

What truly elevated the experience was Shareen. Her service was beyond reproach. She was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She made the evening feel effortless and special, the kind of service that stays with you long after the meal.
