This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment you walk in, the host is attentive and efficient. The service is impeccable. The cocktails are inspired. I love the scope and breadth of the wine list. I can’t say enough good things about the food. The Dry Aged Crispy While Duck is one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. I’ll dream about it. So many fun, interesting and shareable items on the menu. It was hard to limit ourselves. We chose the Zucchini Dolma, Melon Salad, Penthouse Nuggets, Little Gems, Octopus and Crab Pave. Everything was seasoned without fear and perfect. The view is spectacular and the décor so creatively thoughtful. We knew we would be enjoying adult beverages and took rideshare. i suggest that. The cocktails and wine are begging for a second and third selection. Go here!!!!!
View on Google ↗The food was 10/10 no notes. We had one chefs tasting experience and ordered more off the menu. The chefs tasting experience can be paired with wine (we skipped this and opted for cocktails instead). You choose an app a main course and dessert. We had the house-made penthouse chicken nuggets, the lobster pasta, and a cheesecake. We also ordered steak frites, burrata, and three drinks. Drinks were : fleeting flowers, golden tempo and chica bonita. My personal fave was chica bonita. The experience was amazing we arrived after sunset and got to take beautiful almost fully panoramic views of the city and got some personal photo opps as well with the cityline behind us. Its very vibey at the restaurant. I was treated like a princess from start to finish by the staff who were all so attentive and amazing ( AND I MEAN PHENOMENAL) service and energy about them. I have to name drop out waiter Jay he was easily the best part of the experience as it was my first time at the restaurant he was extremely knowledgable and was able to guided me through my choices the entire night. (Though I dont think you can go wrong with anything on the menu at this point we hit jackpot on food, service, atmosphere, wait time, cleanliness. Which is difficult for most restaurants in my experience) We will definitely be returning here !
View on Google ↗Have been a couple of times, with 6-8 people each visit, while vacationing in SD and have had nothing but amazing experiences. Food, drinks and service were impeccable every time. Menus are amazing and make it hard to choose so we usually pick many selections and share. Have to especially recognize how PERFECTLY cooked our steaks were as we are super picky with how we like them. The entire staff there was always been attentive, friendly and accommodating. The manager Marisa was beyond kind To us each time all while being pregnant and working hard to make sure every table was pleased in every way. Our go to place when visiting the area. Can't wait to return in October!
View on Google ↗Service was excellent and the cocktails were fantastic, but the culinary experience didn’t deliver. The oysters lacked acidity and salinity and were slightly on the warm side. The Brussels sprouts had great crispy texture but needed more flavor and depth. The lamb was cooked to a great temp, but it felt incomplete without a sauce or starch, yet it was on a bed of a salad which threw us off. Each dish came close, but every one seemed to be missing a key element. For the price we paid, the gap in value was very hard to ignore.
View on Google ↗A truly exceptional dining experience from start to finish. You would never expect to find a restaurant with such stunning panoramic views paired with thoughtfully curated, beautiful décor—it instantly sets the tone for a special evening. The staff was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire meal. One member of our party has celiac disease, and our server expertly guided us through the menu, taking great care to ensure safe and delicious gluten-free options, which was greatly appreciated. The food itself was outstanding. The Branzino was easily one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, flaky and delicate, yet bursting with bold, vibrant Mediterranean flavors. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, clearly showcasing the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen. The wine list was equally impressive: not overly large, but exceptionally well curated, featuring a diverse selection from around the world, along with a special holiday-focused offering. Paired with breathtaking views overlooking all of San Diego, this restaurant delivers an unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be back.
