Mike Hess Brewing North Park

Walking across the footbridge through the brewing tanks was the coolest brewery entrance! We enjoyed the range of beer options. And we got a free glass with the purchase of a flight. Try the 8 West for a fun, floral, tropical beer that just seems right in this gorgeous city. Fun stop!

Great place. Not busy on a Sunday even with the Padres game on. No food but the server wss great!

Fits the North Park vibe. Nice space on the small side, about half of which is taken up by the tanks and equipment. Bar area has snacks and cans to-go with plenty of draft options. Food is order-in or a truck out front. Wish the outdoor seating was larger but they’re limited and it’s on the shady east side anyway. Easily walkable from the main business districts of NP and the surrounding neighborhoods. As far as the quality of the beer, it leans corporate chain with plenty of acceptable options but nothing outstanding. Skews hoppy but there were a few lagers and more traditional styles (brown ale was solid).

Very pleasant atmosphere, drinking space is large and not overly crowded. Variety of their beer selection has good variety for the casual beer drinker or the connoisseur.

This Mike Hess location is in a good location in North Park with plenty of parking surrounding the brewery. Huge selection of hand crafted beers. We stopped in on Taco Tuesday and very much enjoyed the food truck serving up an amazing selection of food. Overall, great beer, good location and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!
