Ketch Grill and Taps

Went to their location in Point Loma with my cousin to enjoy lunch after the Maker’s Market on 7/18/25. Our waiter was Sean and his recommendations were perfect for flavor (plus his impeccable service was top notch)!! We ordered for appetizers the calamari and sweet hot Brussel sprouts. VERY good! My lunch was the salmon, cooked perfectly and paired with a delicious sauce, asparagus, kale, pickled onions and andouilles sausage. 2 appetizers, 2 alcoholic beverages, 2 entrees, superb service and gorgeous views (we chose to eat outside) came to about $139.00. The restroom was clean!! We WILL be back!

Had a great experience at Ketch. We started with the octopus and calamari, both of which were well prepared and flavorful. For our mains, we ordered the mahi-mahi and a wedge salad—both were fresh, well-executed, and enjoyable. The food overall was very good, with quality ingredients and solid presentation. Dessert was just okay compared to the rest of the meal, but it didn't take away from an otherwise pleasant dining experience. We'd definitely return for the seafood and waterfront atmosphere.

Went to Ketch for dinner while in town for business. Excellent friendly service and good vibe atmosphere. I ordered the Rueben Burger which was good (came with two sides which I didn’t realize), but my Grilled Octopus appetizer was the best seafood entree I have had in a long time. The octopus was tender, laying on a bed of various vegetables with a spicy sauce to kick your tastebuds into overdrive; like a symphony of textures and flavors, I would go back just for that! Highly recommend it!

Best HH view and dishes! Servers are friendly and so helpful; makes the happy hour more happy!!! Cannot beat the view!

I thought this place supposed to be very busy during the weekend but actually it wasn’t so bad. I made a reservation a long time before, and when we got there, there were still multiple seats left. But I’m very happy I chose here to have lunch with family and friends, because it was so beautiful here with the ocean bay view, especially in a nice sunny day. The foods here are very reasonably priced. We ordered California Tuna Bowl, Fried Pickles, Cheeseburger and Tuna Melt Sandwich, everything is delicious. Especially the sandwich and the tuna bowl, I think they are definitely worthy to try. The service is nice. Will come back when we have people come to visit.
