It’s Restaurant Week again, and I’d highly recommend giving this French restaurant a try. At around $65 per person, it offers great value for the experience. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the French ambiance—the lighting, candles, décor, and overall pace are all very charming. It’s a great spot for a date or a small gathering with friends. The menu leans toward classic French cuisine, with elegant plating and refined flavors, not overly showy or pretentious. Every dish we ordered stood out, with well-layered sauces that clearly show the chef’s attention to detail. For starters, the Rillettes de Saumon is highly recommended—it’s so good you’ll want to keep eating it. For the main course, the Confit de Canard is a must-try. This traditional dish from the Gascony region in southwestern France involves curing duck legs with salt and spices, then slowly cooking them in duck fat until the meat becomes tender and juicy. It’s considered one of the finest dishes in French cuisine, especially recommended for duck lovers. The service was excellent as well—attentive without being intrusive, with a well-paced dining experience. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, and if possible, sit inside, as the ambiance is better than the outdoor seating.
View on Google ↗Bleu Bohème was absolutely fantastic. The fish of the day was an ahi tuna steak, and it was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality and execution. The service was also top notch from start to finish. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel welcoming without being overbearing. Overall, an outstanding meal and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Bleu Bohème to anyone looking for a memorable dinner.
View on Google ↗Visited this restaurant on a Friday evening at 7.30pm and it was such a lovely atmosphere and low noise too . I have been before and the French food is always delicious . I always have their French onion soup which is amazing . The country sourdough bread is the best . Went with 3 other family members and they ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon , filet mignon steak frites and the Coquilles St. Jacques . Everyone said their dinners were so delicious. I like the candlelit tables and the service is always so good . Jennifer M was our server and was very sweet and attentive . It was my husband’s birthday and they bought a little cake with a candle in it for him. The crème brûlée dessert is the best too . I would give this restaurant 10/10
View on Google ↗Update review based on recent visit on 6/20/26: gnocchi had a very mushy texture and the sauce tasted too rich. Crab cakes were still good. Mussels in champignons sauce were very good overall, a couple of them kind of smelled bad though. Rillettes de saumon was so oily and salty, I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites. Coquilles st. jacques was very mediocre, scallops were still very transparent in the middle. If we come back we will probably just get some mussels and crab cakes. We went during SD Restaurant Week in January 2025 to try this place for the 1st time. We will definitely be back! The appetizers were both excellent. Gnocchi had a light somewhat airy texture instead of the common dense dough texture in gnocchi. Crab croquettes were super tasty and the arugula and jicama salad were great pairing. The beef entree wasn’t something I would like to order again simply because I wasn’t a fan of the strong wine flavor. The meat was amazingly soft though. The sauce that came with the duck confit dish was so good. I didn’t expect it to be so flavorful. It actually paired very well with the meat and was the highlight of the whole dish. The desserts were also very good.
View on Google ↗Incredible service. Jennifer was really nice and explained the menu. They even offered great suggestions that fit my palate. I highly recommend the red wines here. Super nice options. Also dessert was perfection. Can’t wait to be back!
