McGregor's Bar and Grill

We’ve been coming here for about 3 years and it is our stop off between North County and Arizona and a meeting place to shoot pool and relax with friends. The food and drinks are good, they always have a lot of sports playing and even did an Easter egg hunt with various surprises inside the eggs. Service is only at a 4 because you do go up to the bar to order food yourself even though it is a real restaurant. The potato skins are one of my favs and they have great burgers too! I recommend checking them out! Nice outdoor area too where you can bring your dog.

Mcgregors is a great local community bar and pub. A fully stocked bar, great local fare and a stable staff make this place a jewel in Mission Valley. They play most major sporting events, especially San Diego favorites, most times with sound on. Very close to Snapdragon Stadium. They have 4 pool tables, 2 digital dart boards, a pinball machine and shuffle board for your gaming pleasures as well. I highly recommend for many reasons, but the local vibe and great food, drinks and service will speak for themselves.

This was my first time visiting McGregors's. Greeted at the door, nice. The cute photo op at the door was cute, I missed the opportunity this time. I'll be back for that. Once inside, there is no bad seat in the place to watch a TV. There are also pool tables, very cool. We came in Sunday and watched Football. I've never watched 3 games all at the same time. We ordered from the brunch menu. Ordered champagne and you get 3 choices of juice to drink with it. Very nice. Odd thing was, the champagne was served to us in a pitcher because they were out of ice buckets? Wierd at 11am with not a half full house of customers. I ordered the French Toast Sandwich. So delish, but dipping it in a dipping sauce packet doesn't make for a great experience. It was too cool and thick. If the syrup was thinner it would be so much better. Or maybe a little warmer. It came with fruit and I added the strawberries to my champagne. Yum!! Later Chicken wings were ordered, and they were so good. We got 3 different sauces also. Ranch, buffalo, and my favorite the sweet/hot sauce. I forget the name, but it was good. They offer outdoor seating as well. I believe one side you can smoke because there are ashtrays on the tables. All in all the atmosphere was great. I liked the decor, the food and or server was great as well. I will be back!! If you need somewhere to go to watch a game or 3, McGregors if your place!!

Met up here with some friends before going to a SDFC game at Snapdragon and then met back here after. It was busy but service was solid both before and after the game. Chicken tenders were a solid choice and good value, too. Live music was starting when we left. There's a smoking patio, too! Quality establishment.
