Good News Bar

I was honestly surprised to find a bar that serves only non-alcoholic drinks. Such a unique and fun idea. I ordered Feral, and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best alcohol-free cocktails I’ve ever had. I also tried (Parentheses) Before Dusk, but that one wasn’t for me. It tasted a little too much like vinegar. If you’re looking for a place with creative, high-quality non-alcoholic cocktails, I highly recommend Good News. It’s a great concept, and I’ll definitely be back.

Love this spot! Just absolutely gorgeous inside…I can tell how much money, creativity, and care was put into this place. What a beautiful spot and thank you for putting it together for others to enjoy. I was skeptical about how good a mocktail could be but wow the flavors were so complex and tasty. Better than most cocktails I’ve had! I had the paper route and my bf had woods - 10/10 recommend both of them. I also love the tribute to Mac miller and how the drinks are named after his songs. Can’t wait to come back for coffee in the morning.

Such a vibe. I tried the iced golden matcha (perfectly mixed with a nice turmeric kick), a warm and flaky spinach pocket, and the “Oy Vey” kava drink — super interesting and gives you that cocktail-style kick without the alcohol. The ambiance is incredible. When I came in, they had a tarot reader, photo booth, and flash tattoos going on — it felt alive and welcoming. Definitely coming back and bringing friends. Love what they’re building here.

My partner and I were so excited when this place open. I think we heard that it was coming to San Diego at least 6:00 to 8 months before it actually arrived. To have a non-alcoholic bar in San Diego is such a wonderful thing and I hope that people choose to follow suit. The inspiration behind this establishment is wonderful, and their intentions to bring sober and mentally helpful cocktails to San Diego is beautiful. I highly recommend looking them up, reading what they're about on their website and giving them a visit. They have a wide variety of adaptogenic cocktails, CBD cocktails, and standard non-alcoholic cocktails that are still quite imaginative. There are also open during the day with entirely different menus etc. I still have not managed to make it down from Encinitas to go there in the morning but we plan to. We have been several times at night at it is one of our favorite hangouts. Being able to go to a bar without drunk people stumbling around making lots of noise and messes is a wonderful thing. As someone who got sober myself a little while back, it is utterly refreshing to see other people dedicated to having you sober evening.

So happy a place like this has opened in San Diego! Creative menu, friendly service, open airy and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. Feels really thoughtfully curated and like somewhere I want to spend mornings working remote and meeting clients / and evenings having cocktails with friends. The morning cocktail list was insane! Had the Dirty Jet Fuel and loved it. Looking forward to coming for evening service soon.
