Great spot in South Park. Order as you enter, pick your seat and they bring out your food. I dont drink beer anymore so not sure how that works; likely the same way. Nice variety of meals. Ive tried the Cubano and their burger 🍔 (smash burger styke) loved the burger, already came back twice for that order. I love sitting outside watching the world go by. Has tables, bar seating, covered patio and the spot I like facing Fern street. Staff is awesome and vibes are cool here. Fun spot!

I Came Here For Lunch. I Ordered The Cubano Sandwich With Chris Cross Fries. Oh Yeah I Also Ordered Watermelon Skewers And A Coors Light. Yup The Sandwich Was Great And The Chris Cross Fries Were Definitely Delicious Without That Bitter Oil Taste. I Was Very Impressed With My Food. I Also Like The Awesome Watermelon Skewers. I Liked How When I Ordered Another Ice Cold Coors Light & Ask For The Padre's Game To Be Put On. Yup The Bartender Hooked It Up. I Totally Recommend This Awesome Place. I'm Seriously Going To Return To This Awesome Place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love Fernside in South Park. Such a cool neighborhood spot with an awesome vibe and one of the better happy hours I’ve found in San Diego. First surprise… their well whiskey is Old Forester 100 proof 🤯 — which honestly caught me off guard in the best way. Great pours without feeling cheap. The happy hour deals are solid too: $5 beers, around $6 sliders, and everything felt really fairly priced for the quality and atmosphere. Big shoutout to Ari behind the bar — super friendly, welcoming, and just one of those bartenders who makes the place more fun to hang out in. Bonus points for the slushy machine (because who doesn’t love options?). If you’re in South Park and want a laid-back place with good drinks, solid food specials, and good people, Fernside is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back.

Great cheeseburger let me tell you ! I forget the gentleman‘s name behind the bar in and out the kitchen looked like he was doing everything but he had great customer service and was real friendly! The entire vibe was nice in there not sure if it’s the best place for kids since it is a bar I had two children with me But we enjoyed the food and was about our way. Thank you guys for a good meal! I’ll def come back again if I’m the city !

Came here for Happy Hour and I loved it. One of the best Happy Hour menus with lots of both drinks and food items. They are counter service only so you order right at the door and receive a buzzer. Service is very quick here. Drinks are ready right away and food takes only a couple of minutes. I tried the Mini Nacho Fries and Korean BBQ wings. This was enough to share between two people. The Nacho Fries were delicious. The waffle fries were so crispy and it was topped with a ton of bacon, avocado, pickled onions, and nacho cheese. Would come back just for this. The Korean BBQ wings were good, I would get them again. Drinks were standard. Really good prices during HH. Located in South Park so parking is pretty easy. This is a good place for groups because you don't have to worry about splitting the bill. Everyone pays on their own at the counter. This place does get busy. Came with a large group of 8 so it was hard to find seating for all of us at one table.
