Both amazing and disappointing! Went for happy hour and it's even available on Saturday too! Parking wasn't super easy but we got lucky pretty close by on the street. It's paid parking so don't forget... Sangrias: Get! A few different flavors and they're all yummy tbh. Burrata: Maybe? This was a little bit too literal. I would imagine it comes with a couple other things, maybe a basil leaf or a little cherry tomatoe on the side would have been better. It was still yummy but it wasnt as fresh or creamy as I hoped. HOWEVER.... if you get the below, then the whole is greater than the sum of its parts Bruschetta: Get So bright and combined with the little pieces of toast they have it's just a burst of flavor and freshness. Definitely recommend. Tiger Prawns: SKIP These were horrendously overcooked. It was like eating a piece of rubber. Not seasoned well either. And you get like 5 for a premium price of 17. Terribly disappointing. Service was so friendly and amazing. Almost the saving grace after the hit and miss from above. Food: 6/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Value: 6/10
View on Google ↗Wetstone Wine Bar has quickly become my new favorite spot in San Diego. The food was absolutely delicious, the wine selection is fantastic, and the happy hour specials are some of the best I’ve found. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a date night. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff made us feel right at home. If you’re in Bankers Hill and looking for great food, great wine, and a great vibe, Wetstone is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!
View on Google ↗Cute little wine bar tucked into Bankers Hill. Service was friendly and fun, which set a good tone right away. We ended up at a high top since we didn’t have a reservation, which was fine, though funny enough the place never got more than half full while we were there. Food was mostly average, but the bruschetta? Absolute standout — worth going back for that alone. Overall, it’s a cool local spot with a relaxed vibe, solid for a casual night out. I’d swing back again without hesitation.
View on Google ↗Best wine bar in this area! Great seating options indoors and outdoors. I had a Bordeaux and the sangria. Both were excellent. For food they had good vegan options. The seasonal veggies in a garlic tahini sauce was absolutely amazing! My friend had the blood sausage and said that she didn’t know that we could make a good blood sausage in this area, haha. The bruschetta was average. Just not as outstanding as the other dishes mentioned.
View on Google ↗I love this place! Ive lived in the area most of my life and have always walked past and finally went in, no disappointment! The food was fresh and delicious, and the wine was unique and interesting. I had red sangria, the red wine flight, and the house white and loved them all. The service was attuned and efficient, our waitress was kind and had positive energy through out our experience. The ambiance was eclectic and interesting, fun decor! 10/10 recommend!
