I really wanted to love this place, especially with all the awesome One Piece references, great atmosphere, and stellar service. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't deliver. The calamari was burnt and overfried, the ramen broth was completely flavorless (with overcooked eggs), and the poke bowl was mostly mango with hardly any tuna. It’s a 5-star vibe, but the food is well below average. You can get much better food for half the price elsewhere.
Super fun watching one piece while enjoying sushi and pizza at the same time! Got the piccolo and spicy sausage pizzas, for the sushi we got the Naomi Osaka, master roshi and sanji rolls plus the Godzilla ramen. All very tasty and very attentive waiter. Noticed they have trivia night and plan to come back for it 😋
Came here for dinner last night, the ambience was great. They had trivia at 7pm which is always fun. I’ve never been to an Italian/Japanese fusion restaurant before, I’m so glad we gave it a shot. I had the gnocchi that was served in a bread bowl, it was incredible. My friend had the Yakitori, which she also loved. We both agreed we’ll absolutely come back. Service was great. We met the owner and her son, she was incredibly sweet. Her love and passion absolutely translated into the food.
Super yummy food. I have an allergy and they were very accommodating to that. Went on Saturday around 1:15. The Salmon Miso is a MUST HAVE. I wanted to lick the plate.
Came here for dinner last Monday and wanted a cozy sushi spot… this was it! Plus they also have yummy Italian food. I love the Japanese Italian fusion concept! We ordered the burrata, which was super fresh and delicious. Also got the gyoza, which was fried perfectly (light and fluffy with a little crunch) and had a yummy sauce on top. We also got two rolls: the Shinkansen and the Sanji… both unique and delicious. They also have really cool decor and murals + they play great music. Great service. This is one of favorite unique restaurants in SD!
