4-4.5 stars. Classic authentic Mexican food in a wonderful serene patio or comfortable inside. Can't go wrong here with anything, but my favorites are the the chimmichanga, the taco and enchilada combo and the lime shrimp house special. Love the chips and salsa, and the margaritas are better when you ask to not use syrup. Super friendly staff, wonderful environment for small and large groups. Free parking lot which is nice! They do get busy at lunch and dinner but if you're there before 6 these super cute artisan shops are right next door to peruse Mexican and other crafts. Definitely check it out! Oh and save room for sopapillas. They are delicious!

Nestled near Old Town, it boasts a gorgeous indoor space with rustic charm and a cozy outdoor patio brimming with colorful lanterns. It has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining spaces, full of charm. The atmosphere was absolutely delightful. In my experience, the food was a standout! The food is a celebration on a plate; vibrant flavors, fresh ingredients, and every bite tells a story. We had a group of eight, some plates were delicious and others were really good. The staff are absolutely delightful; they’re friendly, attentive, and bursting with personality. I’ll be back for more, this place was perfect for drinks and good food! I absolutely loved my visit to Casa Guadalajara! If you’re near Old Town, give it a try.
View on Google ↗The food is amazing, in less than 10 minutes our food was served. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The margaritas were to die for especially the Tamarindo one, it was delicious. Want to go back to SD already to go back to this place.
View on Google ↗Fun Mexican restaurant in Old Town serving traditional dishes. The servings were large. The rice and beans did lack a bit of flavor. I enjoyed the chicken chimichanga. Great chips. Queso wasn't the best. The Mariachi music was fun. Very colorful decor and staff.
View on Google ↗The restaurant ambience was really nice. Gives authentic mexican vibe. In the heart of Old Town Historic District. Chicken Quesadilla was awesome. I didn’t like the chicken in poblano sauce though. Mexican rice flavour was really nice. Behavior of staff was not that friendly. So not happy with the service part.
