We had a great lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon, while visiting San Diego for the day. The food was delicious and the view was amazing! We ordered the poke nachos and calamari both were really good. The nachos had a nice balanced flavor with the sauce and mango. The calamari was nicely fried. My daughter ordered the Bulgogi which we were all pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. It had a nice char and spicy flavor. It was a great portion for the price of $15. We ordered the Red Dragon which was tasty. I ordered the hosimaki special, both albacore and salmon skin, and the rolls were tasty but not my favorite. It’s a great deal for the price but I probably won’t order them again. The service was great! We had a beautiful view on the patio of the hustle and bustle of the beach. Nice atmosphere to dine in. The prices were very reasonable considering the area and the beautiful view! Belmont park is a busy, fun beach vibe! We will definitely go back soon!

Great meal at Cannonball after our first full day in Mission Bay. It was so nice we could use the parking lot for the Belmont shopping plaza since that’s often a challenge in this area. There was a 35 min wait even on a random Thursday in March so I recommend a reservation if you can. I loved that they had ample space to wait near the bar with cozy seating & fireplaces to help with the night time breeze. Once seated we enjoyed Garlic edamame, Red Dragon, Samurai roll… then we grabbed a couple of California & Philly rolls for the kids. My husband also tried the pork belly bao buns which were delicious but a little too spicy for me (I’m a wimp). This would be a gorgeous spot to eat & watch sunset from!

This place had it all. We walked in and after a short wait they sat us at a table for 2 next to a nice warm lamp, as it was getting a little chilly. The restaurant was clean, dim lighting but not too much that you couldn't read the menu and the view to the beach from our table was beautiful, very romantic all in all; absolutely great place for a date. The service was on point; our waitress Natalie was very attentive, super nice, knew the menu pretty well. She took our order; we ordered the coral dragon and curtain call for drinks and they were both delicious, a dry saki first. For food we ordered the oysters which were super fresh, clean and very tasty, the Enfuego sushi rolls which had a sweet, light herb, crisp and slightly acidic flavor. We had also ordered the blue crab dip which comes with wanton chips but it did not come out with the sushi or after the we were done eating the sushi. We waited a while for our dip, and after checking on us a couple of times, our waitress came back to say there was an issue at the back of the house and the order didn't go through, so they will be comping the dip and dessert and we will be getting the dip in 2 minutes. The fact that the staff constantly apologized for the the dip being late as well as comped the dip and dessert to make up for the time we waited to me is going above and beyond as well as shows respect to their customers; honestly if I lived in SD I would constantly come back for more of the delectable food and awesome service.

Such a pretty place with a beautiful view! The sushi was great and so was the rest of the food! great service and atmosphere! It was very busy and loud with the big show next door but then we got lots of fun music to listen to!
