One of my new favorite restaurants. The food is very flavorful, I had the vegan mushroom tacos. Everything from the tacos, beans, and salad was excellent, I finished every morsel. Lots of vegan options, the staff was very friendly. Jazmine our server treated us very well. She was fun to talk to and always checked in on us.
View on Google ↗This place is an absolute must. Start with the warm queso, get it with the added steak, you won’t regret it. The shrimp tacos are a standout, and the steak and shrimp skillet is the kind of dish you’ll be thinking about on the drive home. Save room for the tres leches cake to close out the night. Trust me on all of it.
View on Google ↗La Doña was outstanding, both the food and the service were incredible. I had the roasted corn on the cob and two tacos, grilled shrimp and mushroom, and wow… both were absolutely to die for. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. Highly recommend if you’re in Ocean Beach, this place is a must. 🌮✨
View on Google ↗La Doña is a great spot for amazing Mexican food and creative drinks, especially from Julio, the head bartender. One taco I highly recommend is the chile relleno taco it’s a must try. They’ve got a fun vibe with music playing and most sports on the TVs. Prices are reasonable, and they offer outdoor seating that’s dog friendly, which is always a plus. If you’re in OB, definitely stop by. Tell Julio Hooks sent you might even score a free shot.
View on Google ↗We had dinner here on a Wednesday night with five adults and four kids. We had reservations and were seated on the patio right away. The décor and atmosphere are great. We loved the fresh salsa, craft margaritas, steak tacos, enchiladas, and hot churros with creme. The staff was friendly and attentive. It’s hard for Mexican cuisine to stand out in San Diego, but La Doña hits the mark.
