Great food and drinks along the boardwalk in Pacific Beach. Missy had the Seafood Taco Sampler. A taco trio of crispy cod, achiote shrimp, and a calamari frito. I had tasty Beef Machaca Con Huevos. Eggs scrambled with shredded sirloin beef & Mexican chorizo, w/ sautéed peppers, onions, tomato & choice of flour or corn tortillas. Both entree's were terrific with Missy commenting that her tacos were excellent and World Famous is her favorite restaurant along the boardwalk. They also have a good draft selection and a large bar for cocktails. We were able to get nice seating on a spectacular Saturday afternoon in January. Reservations make getting the best seating easier. Recommended.

I was visiting San Diego for a couple of days and came across this gem right on Pacific Beach. Parking took a few minutes to find, but it wasn’t difficult at all since it was a weekday. I was greeted and seated promptly at a prime patio spot overlooking the beach and ocean—hard to beat that view. I ordered the seafood taco trio and was impressed with the portion size. The fish, calamari, and other seafood were generous, and everything tasted fresh. The veggies and salsa were especially good. As I usually do, I asked if they had fresh-squeezed juice. They had orange and a couple of other options, and I went with the orange—it was excellent. Service was top-notch throughout. I was checked on a few times without it feeling intrusive, and overall the pricing felt very fair for both the quality of food and the prime beachfront location. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Food was good but felt a little pricey for the amount and quality. It was also very loud inside and the table behind us was yelling the entire time. Our waitress was nice and attentive.

My wife searched and found this place for our family of 10 to go(kids and grandkids). I had read some good reviews. It was our favourite meal on this trip so far. The food and service were excellent. Our server took great care of us and the 4 grandkids. The food did come out super fast-maybe a little too fast at times 😬. If you are looking for seafood on the ocean, you cannot go wrong with this place.

We were bummed when Fat Fish closed years ago, but the same family owns World Famous down the street. They have the same amazing tacos and Lobster Bisque; but with a beautiful ocean view as well! This has quickly become one of our favorite spots to grab a bite and have a nice walk on the boardwalk. They also validate 2 hours of parking at the underground garage next door.
