Baja Beach Cafe

We spent two evenings at this place and absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect. The nachos and tacos were delicious, and the waitresses were incredibly kind and gave us great recommendations. One of those nights was our last evening before heading back to France, which made it even more special. I usually have stomach issues with beer, but they were very accommodating and offered me strawberry syrup to mix with it, which I really appreciated. It made the experience even better! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!

The view is incredible and the "big" drinks are excellent to share (or drink on your own 😉!) We travel with our dogs and they are always welcome and the staff is very kind and receptive to them. Our dogs are bigger and the staff will make sure we are seated somewhere they can be comfortable. Everytime we come to San Diego , we make a stop here and we don't regret it!

Had the worst experience here! Ordered veggie tacos and re-confirmed while ordering but it came with bacon in it. The server didn’t seem to be are much but did call her manager when we reinforced that this is not ok. The manager was apologetic but said the kitchen has been busy. He did knock it off our bill, so that’s a nice gesture. The mega margaritas were watered down and not so great, we ordered the jalapeno ones and they ran out of glasses so gave us in takeaway cups - go figure! Overall missable experience, I won’t be coming back.

¡¡¡It don’t matter if you local or not you have to come check this spot out!!! I had such a great experience at Baja Beach Cafe. The atmosphere is super welcoming and relaxed, and the place itself is honestly really cute—perfect beach vibes with a fun, laid-back feel. What really made the visit stand out though was the staff. Everyone working here was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell the team genuinely cares about the guests and creating a good experience. Between the great energy, the awesome people working here, and the charming setting, it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a fun beachside place to hang out.

This was right on the beach just a few minutes walk from our hotel (Ocean Park Inn) and the atmosphere and food was great. The lobster taquitos were so good. 4 good size ones for only $11. Also got the Surf & Turf burrito which was really good as well. A+
