Vessel Restaurant

I came for a birthday brunch and made a reservation. I think the host could have been more aware to check I reserved a patio seating for four. Our waiter was friendly and brought over a special birthday cake. The brunch was great but, the crepe was cold. Overall ok to explore the beach and views.

From the very beginning, the host was very nice. We were seated outside on the patio for breakfast. The view is beautiful the heater was great. but the food for the buffet was just OK. It was not $26 worth per person for buffet at that price, it should’ve had more food different variety. The bacon was chewy. The pastries were very good. The muffins were good. There was no sugar or honey or cinnamon out, The staff is very good about bringing it promptly again. The staff was amazing.

The Vessel is a destination my husband and I frequent regularly. The food selections are delicious, the staff are all so personable and professional, and it's a very social place for great food and good times. One of the favorites of favorites is Nootsie, one of the great bartenders, who seems to know everyone and who bring folks together to make some unforgettable times.

We had the build your own seafood tower and it was some of the freshest and most vibrant seafood I’ve ever had. Beautifully presented and delicious. We were at the bar so our server was the bartender, Nootzy, and she took very good care of us.

I’ve eaten here countless times while staying at the Kona Kai in San Diego! The desserts are awesome and breakfast is my favorite here. The eggs Benedict and French toast are great. I also enjoy the ahi tuna appetizer.
