When you come here, the upstairs bar is a must-see. But overall they have delicious and well-prepared menu items and great happy hour prices! I highly recommend their calamari.. it is very unique and delicious!

Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. Even though evenings in La Jolla can be chilly in March, it was still comfortable to dine on the patio because heaters were placed at each table. Being able to enjoy delicious food while watching the sunset by the ocean made the experience truly amazing. The food clearly showed great care in its preparation and was absolutely delicious. It’s the kind of flavor that makes you want to come back and eat it again. They also had a great list of tap beers, and cocktails like martinis were excellent as well. The interior was thoughtfully designed and gave the restaurant a stylish and modern atmosphere. The staff were friendly and very professional at their jobs. This is a restaurant I would definitely recommend, and I’m planning to visit again myself.

A little pricey, but it's a pretty busy area with great rooftop views, so I get it. Be careful of the seagulls if you sit outside (they don't really have preventative stuff to keep the birds away). But overall the food was good and the servers were all really nice. They even let us move inside when it got a little chilly after sunset.

Feels like I am in Hawaii. We loved the views and the mai Tai is extremely strong, they don't skimp out. The virgin colada was a delight. The plate lunches are amazing. The huli huli chicken is smoky and well seasoned but it is hard to go past the mango pork ribs. Everything here was a delight. Highly highly recommend

Food-delicious. Ordered the Kalua Pork Sandwich and Hula Pie. Kalua Pork Sanwich was of a decent size, didn't look massive but it was very filling. Pork was of great quality. Highlight of it was the mango barbecue sauce. Have been to the islands a couple times and have tasted many different barbecue sauces, and in comparision with other mango barbecue sauces, their's is very sweet (almost tastes like guava). Hula Pie was absolutely massive and the photos you see don't lie. Its basically a giant slice of ice cream with fudge, chocolate syrup, nuts and a cookie on the bottom Service-very good. Server whos seated us (believe his name was Brandon?) was very jolly and really made us feel welcomed. The server who served us was very understanding regularly checked on us. She wasn't as jolly but was definitely compassionate. Atmosphere-overall very nice. For us we got seated immediately because we wanted to eat inside (outside had a long wait). From LA, and this place basically summarizes the vibe I got from La Jolla. Its very welcoming and a charming place to dine out at for occasions. If you are a broke college student, realistically I can't see people coming here regularly due to the prices but if its a special or family occasion or if people have the money to spare, it's nice to have once in a while. I would argue its the experience thats worth it and the food acts as a supporting factor
