Steamy Piggy

Outstanding food!! Love their ramen - tasty, flavorful, with perfectly charred meat and runny egg. Chicken bao buns are amazing too - juicy, with a sauce that has a bit of kick to it, and plenty of veggies, perfectly complemented by a bottle of Sapporo. Kawaii buns are cute 🥰 and delicious 🤤 as well. This location has actually better tasting food, faster service, and better parking than the one in Convoy, and there is no wait line!! Definitely recommend!

Good not great. The food was decent but the Baos itself could have been better had it not been fusion. But if you’re looking for fusion over authentic, then perhaps it fits perfectly for your appetite! There is a wait but the wait is not too long. Lots of indoor and outdoor sweating. Service was excellent and food came out quick!

First time trying Steamy Piggy and it was honestly really good. The bulgogi fries had a ton of flavor, the bulgogi roll was super solid, and the piggy bao was probably my favorite. Everything tasted fresh and well made. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in San Diego.

I stopped by with co-workers after work and was pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were delicious and the wings were tasty. We also had the taco flight and the bulgogi fries, both were great! We would definitely come back!

While vacationing in SD, we were looking for places to dine and tried Steamy Piggy based on the great reviews. The portions are big and we were not disappointed. The soup dumplings, bulgogi roll and bulgogi chow mein were good but the red-braised pork belly was what really stood out for me. I would definitely return specifically just for this dish. Shout out to Cam, our excellent server, for suggesting we try it.
