S Tier service, our server was well knowledgeable about the menu and gave us very good recommendations. His name was Bill and he took care of 4 teenagers which were THE only teenagers in the whole restaurant. We felt really comfortable and welcomed and had an amazing night. The hostess was also very kind as well but the food was great. My favorite dish tonight was definitely the pork because whatever sauce it was, it was great and the drink I had which was caught in the rain non alcoholic cocktail, was pretty good too. Definitely coming back and hope my brother Bill and his assistant will take care of us again.

Beautiful views as noted in other reviews. We booked for sunset in February so asked to sit inside. The host was able to accommodate a window table which was lovely. Glad to sit inside as once the sun set it was quite dark for the outside tables. Service was on point where each person who took care of us was knowledgeable and professional. Drinks came very quickly. I loved the Sunset Sour and my husband preferred the Manhattan he ordered 2nd. The bread was okay but the mushroom streusel was delicate and delicious! I also went vegetarian on the main with the winter squash risotto and yes - recommend! Husband got the scallops and they were okay, had a nice sear. Brussels were also good. Definite yes on the dessert of baked Alaska brownie.

We popped in for an early lunch. This was my thank you gift to a friend. For the best seating, arrive between 11-11:30. Make a reservation. Mention any special occasions. I hadn't been there for many years and was delighted to see all the windows! This is a unique experience and a unique treat! It's expensive and MEMORABLE. I'm not sure there's a bad seat in the house either; it's gorgeous! We were spoiled by Bill. Business casual dress code.

Located a block away from balboa park so you can walk afterwards. They have a parking garage right below them, same building. They charge $2 per 15 minutes; with a max of $20. Mister As is on the 12 floor. Upon walking it’s the bar to the left or the dining area to the right. We went for lunch and they have jazz music playing until 1 by the bar. The bar had some holiday edition drinks. The waiter sat us by the window which was nice. We ordered shared pastries which came out to be 4 pretty big pastries— i wish we woukd have asked them to heat the pastries up more. We got steak and a burger. The food came out in a timely manner. The steak came with about 4 slices of potatoes and some greens. The burger came with truffle fries which were flavorful. What gave the burger extra flavor was the bacon. The macaroni and cheese was a side. The macaroni looked baked but the inside was gooey. It almost had the consistency of soup. The view is amazing— ask for a window seat. Depending on where you sit you can see Coronado bridge, downtown, or the airport. We told them it was our wedding anniversary but they didn’t do much or acknowledge it. Only the hostess said congratulations 🤷‍♀️

I had such a great time at Mister A’s celebrating my anniversary. Everything about the night was amazing. Our server Gabriel was so kind and attentive, and even the server assistant was incredibly thoughtful. When he brought out our dessert, he wished us a happy anniversary and congratulated us on such a special milestone, which meant a lot. From the host to everyone who helped clear our table and bring out the food, the entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food was also incredible literally everything we tried was full of flavor, and there wasn’t a single thing on the table I didn’t love. It was truly a memorable night, and I’m so glad we chose to celebrate here. I’ll always remember this anniversary with you guys. Thank you so much!
