Located at 3367 India St, Suite B, in San Diego's Middletown neighborhood, Dyno Bar offers a unique blend of nostalgic arcade games and a contemporary bar experience. Open daily from 2 PM to 2 AM, this establishment caters to both casual gamers and cocktail enthusiasts. The bar features a curated selection of over 70 taps, including local craft beers, whiskey, and cocktails. Patrons can enjoy free all-you-can-eat popcorn and Oreos while playing classic arcade games like Street Fighter, Double Dragon, and Mario Kart. The back room boasts a dinosaur-themed lounge area with plush seating and a large Godzilla mural, creating a playful yet stylish atmosphere. Dyno Bar is known for its dog-friendly policy, making it a popular spot for pet owners. The venue also hosts a food truck outside, offering convenient dining options. While some patrons have noted that the arcade games can be pricey, the overall experience remains enjoyable. Whether you're looking to relive childhood memories or simply enjoy a night out with friends, Dyno Bar provides a fun and welcoming environment in the heart of San Diego.

Real arcade experiences are hard to find. I don't mean kiddie casinos that give tickets so you can trade them for cheap prizes, I mean an arcade with cabinets and pinball as an end in and of themselves. Dyno Bar is that for me. I recommend the 60th Anniversary James Bond pinball machine, Golden Axe II (because 4-way beat-em-ups are great for meeting people) and the cabinet with tons of ROMs of games from the 70's to the 90's. Anytime I'm in San Diego, I'll find my way here for sure.

We loved this place for pinball. It's mostly older games. We would have stayed longer but the music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other.
