Nice pool, beautiful resort, but food and service at Tropics Cantina were disappointing. Orderd nachos, a burger and two alcoholic drinks for $100. Fine print on the menu: 6% surcharge to account for minimum wage increase, and 20% service charge added to all checks. Hey, I get it...times are hard, unfortunately prices have gone up for businesses to stay in business, servers want to be tipped appropriately - and rightly so! But fees on fees, on top of a resort fee? And just my opinion, but when tips have to be earned and are not just guaranteed, guests might receive actual service. Like, ask if there's anything else you need, pick up finished dishes, or any trash they walk over... Not just drop off what I ordered at the bar. This was just a little irritating and left a bad taste. Sharing a pic of the most expensive bowl of crumbs ever paid for. ($18 "nachos")

Expensive considering what we had. Food ok, drinks did not come until asked for, ice tea was tasteless.

Typical resort food, but tasty and pricy.
