I visited Moonshine Beach for the first time on Sunday (1/11/2026). I watched the Niner vs. Eagle game. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were cold. You may need to stand but I recommend watching a game here! Food was decent, and the service was good. Smiling faces everywhere.

It was my first time and I tried to get it, but the dances are actually pretty complicated and very fast paced. Not to mention literally every song has a different dance so that makes it entertaining. They also give you food tokens when you pay the $10 to enter. How cool is that?! You get two for Free: burrito, quesadilla, hot dog, chips. Nothing crazy good but they totally don’t have to do that but they do! Our party had a great time and we will be back for sure!
View on Google ↗I visited moonshine tonight and had a good night but what shocked me the most was how the security treats the people . I lost a bracelet on the dance floor and I literally stood outside the doors of the bar waiting for them to let me know , they treated me like I was a worthless person on the street and looked and spoke to me in a degrading way I have never felt anything this demeaning where the staff (security) was trying to shoo me away like I was a beggar on the street when I was literally politely about my lost bracelet . I wouldn’t mind them telling me that they would look for it and let me know by taking my number down! But no. I’ve never been through a situation where I had to feel this belittled for just asking about my lost bracelet. At this point I don’t feel worse about the lost bracelet but about how they treated me . I would not sit quiet about this since I didn’t do anything wrong to be treated as passing worthless dust.
View on Google ↗We got tickets to see William Green Clark, a country rock band with guest star country singer Erin Kinsey through Vettix. Note that this venue is standing room only except for a few tables. We got lucky, and another couple offered to share their table. We got the double smashed cheeseburger with fries to share and plain crispy wings served with celery & carrot sticks accompanied by ranch and buffalo sauce. Good portions. Reasonably priced. We had a round of drinks followed by water. The food came up promptly, and once done, it was cleared off quickly. So much so that my water was swiped when I turned my back! The bands were decent, but perhaps an addition of a soundboard could control the acoustics. Once the concert let out, it was confusing as to where the exit was. Two doors were guarded, pushing the flow of people towards the other exit, which was being used as an entrance only. It might have been intentional to persuade the crowd to stay and play some of the games or get additional beverages. Either way, it worked, and we got sidetracked by their dollar menu stand, which featured $1 hot dogs, $1 chips, and $5 mini pizzas. This place is in Pacific Beach (PB), so plan ahead for parking can be at a premium. Expect to pay for parking or have to walk a few blocks. Overall, we had fun, but this is a primarily 20-something crowd, so likely this will not be a return spot unless another good concert opportunity comes up!
