High volume both in diners and decibels, this cozy little trattoria had an authentic, lively Italian vibe. I was glad I’d booked through OpenTable — a reservation was essential to secure a seat. - I ordered the olive pizza with added mozzarella, and it was exceptional in every respect. The crust struck the perfect balance of crispness and chew, with beautiful leoparding; the toppings were fresh and flavorful; and the sauce was vibrant, piquant, and aromatic. - Pro tip: Save a little room for the tiramisu — it’s melt-in-your-mouth perfection.

Visited La Jolla and randomly found Isola Pizza Bar and wow… so glad I did!! The manager clearly runs a tight ship and the staff was SO welcoming honestly felt like we’d been coming here for years. The pizza was incredible. We got the Affumicata and I’m still thinking about it!! Also came on a Tuesday and lucked out with their 2 for $25 deal, which is such a steal for the quality. They’ve got a great happy hour too and Wine Wednesday with discounted bottles! I ended up trying the owner Massimo’s family wine (the Arneis) and it was so good!! If you’re visiting San Diego/La Jolla, don’t skip this place. Easily a favorite stop, literally would come here every single night. 5 stars all the way!!!

This spot is so amazing. It’s great to pop in for dinner, they have phenomenal wine and appetizers I go at least once a month and have even hosted some events here and I’ve been to some hosted events. Highly recommend the service is 10 out of 10. The food is all fresh handmade pasta. It’s definitely a standout Italian restaurant in San Diego.

The most consistent restaurant I have been going to. They never fail and their food is always made with quality ingredients. I would highly recommend the Margarita DOP pizza. They also have a large selection of very nice wines to pair with your meal.

We stopped here after nine hours of driving and let me tell you it was the highlight of our trip. The food was delicious. The host was amazing and so vibrant. Our server was amazing as well and we absolutely loved. Loved the food. My daughter was over the moon at how delicious everything was.
