My family and I went here for Mother’s Day after hearing good things, and it ended up being one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We travel to Italy pretty frequently, so we’re usually picky about Italian restaurants, especially when it comes to pasta and seafood. This place absolutely delivered. Everything felt authentic, from the ingredients to the atmosphere. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife along with their children, and you can tell how much pride they take in what they do. The hospitality alone made us want to come back. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was incredible — fresh, light, and full of flavor. I also ordered the branzino, and it was honestly outstanding. Perfectly prepared and easily one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had anywhere. One detail I loved was hearing that many of their ingredients are sourced directly from Italy, including the flour they use for their pasta. You can genuinely taste the difference. Definitely worth the drive for us, even living quite a distance away. La Jolla is lucky to have this spot.

It was a Tuesday that we came and dined in at another pet friendly restaurant. We came early dinner as well around 4:30pm so it was still Happy Hour Time till 6pm. Their HH menu was pretty good. I love the clams dish so we ended up ordering 2 of those. We sat outdoors at the cozy patio plus heaters so wasn’t too cold. Staffs were very nice, very attentive. We love the restaurant Xmas decorations. Very spacious, it was front and back seatings. There was a private section with bar in the back for business event, birthday, ect…. Free parking long the streets. It’s can be difficult if you come at a later time. We came early so we didn’t have any problem finding a parking spot.

The food was outstanding! My partner’s family is from Italy and this is the closest thing to traditional Italian cuisine we’ve had in San Diego thus far! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. I highly suggest Carpaccio di Angus e Carciofi Fritti! Delicious 😋

Neat spot and great find due to a rehearsal dinner invite. Food was served family style and pre-selected by our hosts. They made delicious choices coupled with the friendly service made for a special night and prelude to the memorable weekend.
