We had a really nice experience at Waffle Spot — definitely a solid 4 stars. The atmosphere is charming and welcoming, and the service was incredibly friendly. The standout of our visit was honestly our server—she made the whole experience. She connected so naturally with our kids, treated them like family, and even brought them stickers, which they loved. Food-wise, it was a bit of a mix. I tried the chicken and waffles Benedict, and while the chicken itself was perfectly crispy and the hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, the overall combination of flavors just didn’t quite work for me. It also definitely needed a bit more salt. On the other hand, my husband’s steak was cooked really well, and the mini waffles that came with his steak and eggs were absolutely amazing. They also have a great kids menu with generous portions, which is always a win for families. Overall, great vibes, great service, and plenty to love on the menu—we’d definitely come back.
View on Google ↗Located inside the Kings Inn, this is a sweet diner with friendly service and ambiance. However, we were excited to try “the best waffles in town” but were left wanting more :( We went in and sat at the diner counter but unfortunately the seats at the counter was not plus size friendly. Even my bf who I would consider a thinner build felt uncomfortable in the seats. Luckily they share seating with the Mexican restaurant next door and were were seated there instead and felt much more comfortable. Now onto the food, the waffles are okay and everything else was okay as well. The coffee was okay, the service good but not great. They didn’t check up on us often or even refilled our coffee mug (which is a number one thing I look for when I go to breakfast spots) . We left the place wanting more and a pricy bill. Paying over $50 for two people is a bit too much.

This time my review is about the true generosity and hospitality of the owner of this establishment. On Thursday morning upon asking for our ticket, our server, Jesus, who is a very good server, informed us that the owner had paid for our breakfast. We had never experienced anything like that in the USA. Wow! Please come and enjoy a true, high quality kitchen and hospitable staff.

The food was prepared and brought out in record time. Everything tasted wonderful and our coffee cups were constantly refilled. Very generous portions. Enough to take home for another meal. We will definitely be back.
View on Google ↗Paula was a dream! So sweet and so attentive! I got the chicken and waffles with ranch and orange juice and my bf got the mini waffle burger with a sausage patty, hashbrowns and cranberry juice! Everything was so delicious and apart from the food I would come back just for Paula she was truly the best! 10/10 recommend if you’re around town!
