Hudson & Nash: A San Diego Gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Forget the "hotel restaurant" stereotype—this place is truly fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food quality and generous wine pours are excellent, making the price point feel just right. The steak is incredibly juicy and, in my opinion, beats out local spots like Roy’s or Lou & Mickey’s. The staff is the highlight: the servers are professional, and the bartenders are charming and hilarious. I even met the Chef, whose genuine passion for his food is reflected on the plate. Tip: Service can occasionally be slow during the dinner shift transition (I had a 45-minute wait for my steak once), but it is well worth the wait. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience at Hudson & Nash inside the Hilton San Diego Bayfront on Park Boulevard. The atmosphere was fantastic—bright, comfortable, and with a great coastal San Diego vibe. Our server Maddie was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. I ordered the strip steak, Jen had the tuna, and we shared the citrus salad and the bread pudding for dessert. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The steak was cooked perfectly and the bread pudding was the perfect way to finish the meal. Between the great food, excellent service, and the overall vibe, Hudson & Nash is definitely a spot we’d recommend when visiting San Diego or staying at the Hilton Bayfront. Highly recommend checking it out.

I love the foods they serve here. Pretty good and delicious dishes they offer for dinner. The bartender is great and beyond. When we arrived, the reception lady told me that no table was available for my family but bars only (imagine two kids sitting at the bars), and recommended me to go somewhere else. However, the bartender helped to create a table for us to so that we can have our dinner. He is very customer-oriented and his service was excellent.

I had such a wonderful experience dining at the restaurant at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, and a huge part of that was thanks to Chris. From the moment we were seated, his kindness and genuine warmth completely set the tone for the evening. Chris has a truly glowing spirit that you don’t come across often. He made us feel so welcomed, comfortable, and cared for without ever being overbearing. His attentiveness was spot on, anticipating needs before we even had to ask, and he carried such a positive, uplifting energy throughout the entire experience. Thank you, Chris, for your kindness and for bringing such light into your work. It does not go unnoticed.

Arrived in San Diego late after so many delays with the airports and this filled my stomach as well as spirit. Chris was the greatest waiter being knowledgeable about everything we asked and had us laughing. Definitely go if you have the chance!
