Completely taking everyone in LJ and BR for a ride. Overpriced and mediocre selection. Pompous owner with zero sense of customer service or warmth. When you are buying wine, beer or champagne for a special occasion how do you want to interact? If you want to have someone treat you as if you have no knowledge or right to ask any question by all means come here. Coming from a long time BR local with many choices of where to buy wines in the area, I would never recommend going here to purchase wines just because it’s nearby. I’d rather be overcharged at Gelson’s or Pavillion’s and interact with friendly humans.
View on Google ↗small and intimate local wine shop helmed by a wine expert owner. choice selection of both new world and old world wines + a few top shelf sake (and cross the street once for a breathtaking ocean view)
View on Google ↗I love this little gem of a wine specialty store. It's packed floor to ceiling with great wines from around the world. When I need something for a party or a bottle to bring to a dinner with friends I go to Ken (the owner) and he always has a great recommendation that's like nothing you can find in a big store- for that extra touch of class and conversation.
View on Google ↗Amazing wine shop. Vast selection of global wines at very good prices. Definitely worth visiting if you need wine!
View on Google ↗Outstanding selection of well curated wines with emphasis on Burgundy, Bordeaux, and top tier producers from the West Coast. Great values to be had (read: fairly priced) and even an allocated bottle or two (I pulled a Dujac Chambolle village off the shelf)! The owner, Ken, was kind and charming, and hooked me up with a couple good glasses to go since our Airbnb had worthless stemware. Excellent store and worth a trip if you're anywhere close.
