True North Tavern

Great place for a crowd. They don't serve their own food, there's a rest next door and the bouncer said you could bring in food from other places, so it's great for dinner with your picky friends. Everyone brought what they wanted to eat for the world cup watch party. Great service, really friendly staff.

This is not a safe place to go for women. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. My friends and I were there for the Super Bowl in February this year. We sat at a large table and behind us was another large table with a group of people, including a guy who started talking to my friends half way through the night. He eventually bought my friends each a drink and they all completely blacked out after having 2-3 drinks total for the night. One of my friends went to the hospital because she was unconscious in her uber. I’m almost positive this guy tainted the drinks. I noticed through the night that he was being very aggressive with my friends, trying to dance with them and would not leave them alone. He hung out by himself watching us until the end of the night- all of his friends had left. I eventually told him to go away, and I told our server who was waiting on both our tables that he was being very creepy. Her response was, “Oh don’t worry, he’s a regular, he comes here all the time.” I decided to call True North to notify them about this, especially since this guy apparently comes there a lot. Initially, Rob the manager seemed concerned and told me he would look at the security footage. I have not heard back from him and I have called and emailed to follow up. He has been ignoring me. It is clear this bar doesn’t care about the safety of their female patrons and are more concerned about keeping a customer who is likely regularly harassing women here. If he can act that way in public, imagine what he does behind closed doors. Do not come here. I will make sure none of my friends step foot in this bar again. Do better True North. I’ve attached a photo someone got of the guy trying to dance with my friend so you can watch out for him. Unfortunately, it’s just the back of him.

Went here for my wife’s birthday. Super nice place, and the ambiance is amazing. I had the the Milanese and my wife had a burger. I couldn’t drink at the time, but she could and she loved the happy hour drinks. They have these tents you can hang out in the back and we plan on coming here with a large group next time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for amazing food and great vibes.

Cool spot to hangout and watch sports. Their happy hour is great as well. Has a big variety of food for a fair price and it’s everyday which is nice. Back order on all the HH beer though so ask what is available. Had come to watch the fights, took about an hour to get them on tv. It was difficult to get our waitress to come to the table and order drinks. When I asked who I thought was our waitress to get another drink and close out the bill, there was a different waitress responsible for our table. Whole encounter was just really odd and put a dent in the experience.

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and energetic without being overwhelming. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent drinks — perfectly balanced and clearly crafted with care. The music and atmosphere were on point, making it a great spot to relax, socialize, or start a night out. Service was fast, prices were fair, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. Definitely a go-to bar and a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!
