We were greeted very abrupt and pretty rude in my opinion. Maybe they can say, “hi” before asking for id with an elevated and quite rude way. I am a bartender so I understand the need to get id before someone orders an alcoholic beverage or if only 21+ is even allowed to be inside at least say hi how are before asking for an id with a scoff. We sat and sat for what seemed like twenty minutes and no one came to get our drink order…again I’m a bartender so I understand if the bar is packed and you need to walk up to order, but it was pretty dead with two bartenders that were just standing around. I indicated to the male bartender and he made eye contacted made a gesture as though he was going to come over but then turned around and disappeared. I assume to the other darker side of the bar and didn’t return for like ten minutes and then avoided eye contact or indicated any awareness whatsoever. So we tried to flag down the other female bartender and she completely ignored us and we were saying, “excuse me” quite loud because the music was a little loud. All three of us tried to no avail. Super awkward. In the time we sat and waited for service we had and drinks and food at the restaurant down the street. As I mentioned, being in the industry I was disgusted. That’s why I’m here. I never write reviews, but I just felt so compelled by embarrassment and how awkward they made it that I had to express this. I hope they do some more training or have a stronger manager to whip them back into compassionate and friendly people. Don’t go here! 10/10 do not recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience. Before anyone even said "hello" or welcomed me, the first thing they did was ask for my ID. When I handed them my valid U.S. tourist visa, they immediately told me they couldn't accept an ID from another country. When I tried to explain that it was a U.S.-issued document, the employee simply responded, "I don't care, but it's my boss's decision." He was about to ask his manager, but by that point I had already lost interest. I asked for my ID back and left. The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and respect was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

Would give zero stars if I could. Front door man not only was rude but threw curse words for no reason after we decided not to enter the venue because we didn’t want to throw a perfectly good sealed water bottle away that was in the bag of the designated driver that has health issues and has to keep one on hand. As we were walking away they started cursing at us for no reason. It caused the designated driver unecessary emotional distress. This place has no professionalism. We have never had a problem at a place in ob since living in the area since 2013. We spent our money at a nearby by establishment and had better customer service and beer.

The security was rude and cussed us out because one of us was foreign, but a US citizen, and they checked their ID for 15 mins then didn't let us in and got really aggressive when we asked why. Don't go here if you're foreign. The security guard in particular was Brazilian AND SO WAS OUR FRIEND which made it so much more ironic. Sorry for the 3rd edit - just saw someone from Canada had the SAME problem. Racist and SUPER AGGRESSIVE security. Insane. We won't ever try to go back. And the owner is the same as next door Tony's and they wouldn't let us in either cause this place didn't lol. What a mess.

On 1/31/26, while upstairs, my friends and I were minding our own business and having a good time, not bothering anyone. Out of nowhere, an employee named Natalie (brunette hair, glasses) from the upstairs bar aggressively pushed through us with a large water jug, yelling "MOVE" in a very rude and obnoxious tone. I calmly said that she could have just said "excuse me" nicely. Her response was simply, "I WORK HERE," again in a rude manner while she was yelling. She never apologized or even acknowledged that she spilled my friend's drink while pushing past us. I completely understand if she was struggling to carry the water jug, but that's no excuse to be disrespectful especially to customers who did nothing wrong. A simple "excuse me" would have gone a long way. Because of this interaction, several people around us didn't want to order from her afterward. Customer service matters, and I hope management considers hiring and training staff to be more respectful, because experiences like this really take away from the bar itself.
