Incredible experience at Craft and Commerce! Perfect service! Amazing staff! They were short on cooks so they warned us that the food might take a little longer than usual. They offered us a snack or shot. We don’t drink so they offered us a mocktail. So good! And we didn’t even have to wait very much extra. I loved how proactive they were in giving us something to hold us over. All the dishes were uniquely presented and tasted amazing. We got the shrimp skewers, chicken nugget sliders, the burger and the egg rolls. Loved everything! The entire place is also uniquely decorated and just has a lot of interesting elements. Loved our experience and highly recommend!! Nico was our server and he was the absolute best!

I visited Craft and Commerce on June 28, and it was an amazing experience that I would rate 5 out of 5 stars. The overall energy of the place was vibrant and welcoming, making it perfect for a night out. One of the highlights was the speakeasy, which felt like a hidden gem with its unique ambiance. I also tried the Tourist Trap drink, which was a standout—fun, flavorful, and perfectly on theme with the atmosphere. Craft and Commerce combines lively vibes with creative cocktails, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

Fun atmosphere with great music and eclectic decor. A lot of great options meant for sharing (and I appreciate that they didn't explain using tapas). Both the nuggets and burger were great; giving an elevated take on fast food favourites. Can go wrong with any of their chicken options. Drinks were also good - personally enjoyed the quiet uprising and inner child.

I had a great experience at Craft & Commence. All the appetizers we tried were excellent — thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and perfect for sharing. You can tell there’s real intention behind the menu. The drinks were just as impressive. Well-crafted, balanced, and creative without being overcomplicated. Definitely a spot where you go to enjoy a proper cocktail. The atmosphere was honestly the highlight for me — stylish, energetic, but still comfortable enough to relax and enjoy the evening. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. And if you go — check out their speakeasy. It’s absolutely worth it.

Category: Elevated Bar Food. If you look up the word “quirky” in the dictionary, you may not see a photo of this restaurant. But if you could look up “super quirky,” you would see it. I have dined in hundreds — maybe thousands— of restaurants all over the planet. This is the first with a diorama over the beer taps of what appears to be a real stuffed female lion attacking a real female warthog (see photos). Is the restaurant African themed? No. But there’s also a Zebra head on the wall at the end of the bar. Reminded me of the safari-themed Ivens Hotel in Lisbon, but Ivens lacked animals in mortal battle. Although the Craft & Commerce lighting is low and the rough-hewn hardwood ceiling is dark, small oil lamps on the bar and tables with fire erupting from the center provide dramatic illumination. Sports pennants obscure weird quotes etched on a mirror. Masonry outside the entrance says “Demand Less”. Strangely self-deprecating quotes are strategically placed throughout. Random series of numbers decorate the edge and face of the bar. Then there’s the food: skewers, burgers, chicken tenders and nuggets, tempura, egg rolls. Sounds like bar bites, right? But the beef in the skewers, egg rolls, and burgers is Wagyu, but of a mystery cut (see my video on Wagyu Beef). The chicken tenders and nuggets can be boosted with three levels of caviar garnish. The fries were cooked in chicken fat. Then there’s the first plate we saw when we sat down at the bar (we often dine at bars): the guy next to us had a dinosaur-sized bone on his plate (see photos). I asked “what in the world are you eating?” He answered “I ordered the Bone Marrow but I didn’t expect a bone that would tip over Fred Flintstone’s car.” We enjoyed the excellent Wagyu Skewers with black garlic aioli, the veg skewers with romesco, and chicken tenders with BBQ (but no caviar).
