Happy hour 3-6. Food is extremely delicious, but the artichoke is a little bit salty. The staff is super super friendly! I am really happy about the dining experience! Ordered Cacio E Pepe with one meatball, Roman Artichoke, pizzeria del Giorno, and Meatballs Alla Nona. The portion is big! Highly recommend and I will definitely come back!

I've been here before for a bachelorette party and it was amazing! Came back and sat at the bar with a friend and had some happy hour. Caccio a Pepe they even have gluten-free pasta you can substitute in which is delicious! I had a really good limoncello mojito (ask for extra mint!) my friend had the delicious looking tiramisu and giant Nonna's meatballs. There were a ton of people watching a football game while we were there. Very lively! Once they left it was a nice calm atmosphere. They also have a really beautiful patio in the back with lights and dogs are allowed. Next time I want to try the polenta with whipped mascarpone and ragu :) Would definitely recommend and come again!

Came on a Sunday evening as a party of 7. We ordered two cacio e pepe’s, two gnocchi’s, two focaccia’s (their signature dish), butternut squash salad, and brussel sprouts for seven girls and was the perfect amount of food. The brussel sprouts dish was my favorite and packed with flavor and textures. The focaccia di recco was also such a delightful sweet and savory combination. The pastas were each yummy but nothing mind blowing.

So I had planned on going to Mona Lisa a few blocks down. After waiting a while for a table only to get to table (inside because no they don’t service outside you would have to order it to go and sit outside) and getting no service or even a hello- we decided to leave. We walked down India street browsing different places and menus. We wanted pizza and a drink (not beer or wine). We passed up several and landed here!!! There were a few hosts in conversation when we walked in and they stopped and immediately greeted us (multiple of them). We asked if we could sit outside they said of course yes would you like our front or back patio? We went for back. We were taken to an adorable oasis of a back patio. Not only tables, but gazebos too. Super cute and adorable. Our waitress Nikki was to us quickly with waters. She went over some specials and came back with our drinks. We did a classic pizza- Carne. The pizza had really good flavor and was delicious. We enjoyed our drinks and Za with wonderful service from Nikki. Since it was Mother’s Day they even had a photographer taking photos- put on a post card picture with the info of the restaurant. I was super impressed with Nikki and shocked to learn she had only been with the company for a few weeks. She is a natural pro. I wish I could visit often, but I’m from out of town. However, I’ll definitely recommend and revisit when I return to San Diego.

My husband and I were recently there for their Sunday Mimosa bar. It was surprisingly better than expected! We received full glasses of Prosecco and then guided to the bar to add our goodies. We loved being able to add our own fruit & different juices. We also enjoyed a super delicious pizza! We were there early in the day so we weren't too hungry- which disappointed us because all the food looked amazing! Our waiter, Reggie, was super nice & made our visit! A definite MUST, when in San Diego!
