We decided to grab sushi here after making the trip over to Coronado. My favorite part was how they had multiple “sushi of the day” flights. One was all tuna (which I got). They also had a Sashimi flight and a special roll. I thought everything was delicious and the menu had a great mix of hot items and sushi. They also seemed to have a great wine list and beer selection. This place is in a great location, right off the ferry. Definitely give it a try!
Great place to grab a bite after a long day walking all over Coronado Island. The service was lightning fast (I was in and out in under 20 minutes) and the bathrooms were clean. If you're not sure what to get, order the Dear John roll, you won't regret it! I also appreciate how they have Sapporo on tap. Excellent place for a fast meal!
Our sushi chef instantly informed us about some tuna belly they had and how in his XX amount of years, it was his 2nd-3rd time seeing and tasting THAT kind of tuna belly. He had asked us if we wanted to try/order it since he had a small amount left. So of course, we said yes and OH. MY. LANTA. He was NOT wrong! That tuna just melted like buttttttaaaa the instant you put it in your mouth! It was IMPECCABLE! Amongst other chef rolls we ordered, the tuna sashimi pictured was THE highlight of our night there. Saiko never fails, its best to make reservations even on off peak hours just in case. This place is always amazing and if you get to sit at the sushi bar, TRUST YOUR SUSHI CHEF! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
Fantastic restaurant with a unique menu and daily specials. Our server Ivan was charming and attentive. I had the dry sake flight, Ace Roll and I can't pass up a Happy Hour priced Salmon Avocado roll. Everything was fresh and delicious, highly recommend! I will be back each time I visit Coronado.
Ray was an amazing bartender !! Love the service, sake flights, and yummy 😋 sushi rolls!! Definitely will be back !!!
