Just happened to walk up on Single Fin, looked like a nice little hole in the wall, local vibe spot. Bartender was awesome, super friendly and helpful. Food was stove hot and super tasty, everyone in my party enjoyed it.
View on Google ↗I really can't understand how this place got a 5-star rating. We were here for breakfast. The place was practically empty. Yet we waited almost an hour for our food. On top of that, it's way overpriced and the portions are much too small. The food arrives incomplete. They say they'll bring the rest, but it never does. The only positive thing is the friendly staff.
View on Google ↗Great food that fit the bill. We had fish tacos, spicy Sriracha shrimp tacos, fish and chips and the California burger. We had a ton of food and ate it all! That says a lot about how great it was. Yum! I'd definitely consider this if I'm in San Diego again! We were thinking about going to just a classic old fish and chips joint but this gave us more options and could see this place being pretty busy but we were here on a Tuesday at 4pm and we had the place to ourselves.
View on Google ↗Convenient location. Thursday bonus, kids eat free after 6:00 p.m.! Your experience will likely be better, but the for us, the food came out way too slow. We ordered five entrees. Three people got their food 50 minutes after ordering. After they finished eating, one more entree came out. A few minutes after that person finished, our last entree was served. The food was just okay.
View on Google ↗Found this small spot because it served a good variety! Just hit happy hour 3-6pm so we got fries, jalapeño poppers (frozen) but plenty. Grilled fish tacos were grilled very sweet pineapple salsa.
