The "knead" for a great meal was met! 🍕🛳️ This was the perfect final stop for my San Diego trip. My aunt and I grabbed a pizza from Village Pizzeria Bayside, and the location couldn't be more convenient—it’s directly next to the ferry shuttle in Coronado. I needed a solid lunch before catching my ferry back to the city, and the smell of freshly baked pizza wafting through the air made it an easy choice. We ordered a medium vegetable pizza but swapped the white sauce for red, and it was absolutely perfect. The seating area was lovely and overlooking the bay, providing a great final view of the water. A huge plus: the patio is netted, so we could enjoy our meal without any "uninvited guests" like seagulls or pesky birds. It’s a fantastic spot for families or friends, whether you’re looking for a leisurely dinner or a quick bite before heading to the Santa Fe Depot for a train up to LA. Highly recommended by locals and travelers alike—this place really delivered! The pizza was "off the rails" good—definitely the best way to keep my travels on the right track! 🍕🚂⛴️
Great atmosphere and delicious pizza and meat lasagna as well as the chicken sandwich with marinara sauce. Definitely recommend 👍🏼
An easy eat after a ferry ride and souvenir shopping, but the food was lacking in flavor! Husband got spaghetti and meatballs, adult kids Philly cheesesteak and I got meatball sub. Edible but tasted from frozen. Do not recommend and unfortunately will not return. The phillys took forever to come out.
The pizza is good, and the views are amazing—you can see downtown San Diego from here. There's a line of people trying to order, and the tables are busy. The high number of visitors makes it worth trying this place.
First time getting pizza here. And almost $50 later I wish I wouldn't have ordered from there. I placed an order to be picked up. Large Hot Honey and 6 garlic knots. The garlic knots were hard and stale like they were made a couple of days ago and lacked garlic. The pizza was burnt and tasted bad. It just wasn't good... I had been really hopeful about the food being so close to my home. But this place was a real disappointment The only good part about my meal/experience there was the friendly staff. Save your money, wouldn't recommend at all.
