California Privacy Rights
Last updated: September 4, 2026
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”). It explains what personal information 3to6 collects, why, and the rights California residents have over it.
Categories of personal information we collect
In the past 12 months, we’ve collected these categories, as defined by the CCPA:
- Identifiers — email address, account ID, IP address.
- Internet or network activity — searches, venue views, clicks, an anonymous device ID, and general device/browser information.
- Geolocation data — precise or approximate location, only if you enable it.
- User-generated content — photos, reviews, and ratings you submit.
- Commercial information — deals and venues you view or interact with.
- Professional or business information — for business account holders, your business contact details and the venue/deal data you submit.
We don’t collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, health information, or other sensitive categories beyond precise geolocation (itself a “sensitive personal information” category under the CPRA).
Sources of personal information
Directly from you (account signup, content you submit, messages you send us); automatically from your use of the Service (analytics events, device data); and from your device (geolocation, if enabled).
How we use it
To provide and personalize the Service, show you nearby deals, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, communicate with you, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Do we sell or share your information?
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as “share” is defined under the CPRA. If that changes, we’ll update this notice and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out here. Our anonymous, aggregated analytics tools (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, PostHog) help us understand product usage — you can opt out of this tracking at any time using the notice shown on your first visit to the site.
Your CCPA/CPRA rights
- Right to know — what personal information we’ve collected, used, and disclosed about you, and why.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we’ve collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — as noted above, we don’t currently sell or share personal information; if that changes, you’ll be able to opt out here.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we only use precise geolocation to show you nearby deals, never to sell, share, or advertise. You can disable location sharing anytime in your device settings.
- Right to non-discrimination — we won’t deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Email 3to6.io@gmail.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request,” the right you’d like to exercise, and the email address associated with your account (if any). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of that authorization.
We’ll respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request, with a one-time 45-day extension if reasonably necessary (we’ll notify you if we need it). Requests to know or delete are free, up to twice in a 12-month period.
Shine the Light
Separately from the CCPA, California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civ. Code § 1798.83) lets California residents ask, once a year, what personal information we’ve shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We don’t share information for third parties’ direct marketing, so there’s nothing to disclose today — but you can still reach out to 3to6.io@gmail.com to confirm.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time; the date above reflects the latest change.
