Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 3to6 (“3to6,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the 3to6 website (3to6.io), mobile app, and related services (the “Service”). It’s incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. If you’re a California resident, see also our California Privacy Rights notice.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account: your email address and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), plus any preferences you set, like favorite categories or saved venues.
• Location. If you enable it, precise or approximate geolocation from your device, used to show nearby happy hours. You can turn this off anytime in your device or browser settings.
• Usage and analytics data. On your first visit we assign an anonymous ID stored in your browser (cookie / localStorage), which we attach to events like searches, venue views, and clicks on directions or website links, plus general device and browser information. This ID isn’t tied to your identity unless you create an account.
• User content. Photos, reviews, and ratings you choose to submit.
• Business account information. If you manage a venue on 3to6, we collect your business contact details, login credentials, and the venue and deal information you submit.
• Communications. Messages you send us, such as support emails or venue correction requests.

What we do NOT collect

We don’t collect payment information, government IDs, or other sensitive personal data, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

How we use it

To operate and personalize the Service (like showing nearby deals), detect and prevent fraud and abuse, communicate with you, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations. We may share aggregate, anonymized engagement numbers with venues (for example, “120 directions taps this month”) — never your individual identity.

How we share it

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share it with: service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, analytics, and similar infrastructure); venues, only as aggregate or anonymized statistics; other parties as required by law or to protect our rights; and, if 3to6 is ever acquired or merged, a successor business. Where sharing with an analytics or advertising partner could count as a “sale” or “share” under California law, you have the rights described below and in our CCPA notice.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies (including an anonymous device ID) to run the Service and understand how it’s used. We may mirror anonymous usage events to analytics providers such as Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, PostHog, and Meta Pixel. Meta Pixel may collect browser and device information, and activity on our site, to measure and improve our advertising. A notice on your first visit lets you accept or opt out of this tracking; opting out stops event tracking on that device.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Your choices

• Opt out of analytics anytime using the notice shown on your first visit.
• Control location sharing in your device or browser settings.
• Clear your browser storage to reset your anonymous ID.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing 3to6.io@gmail.com.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you’re a California resident, you have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing — see our full California Privacy Rights notice for details on how to exercise them. As we expand beyond California, we’ll extend equivalent rights where required by other state privacy laws.

Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the date above reflects the latest change. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
