Awesome vibe and great service here. We were greeted by a very friendly host, who I believe is the owner. Our food just needed a bit of tweaking, specifically the buns on our burgers. However, we had a whole burger, portion of fries and a beer for just $11 so we can’t really complain. If you are looking for a quick lunch spot, here is the place. Current note: As of 3/2/26 the bathroom was closed.
That was the best hot dog & fries I've had in a long time! I was sad about the limited beer/beverage selection but I didn't really need a beer anyway 😉 It was a true Chicago Dog - even a sport pepper! Outside seating is made to be shared & it was a perfect day for my pup & I 😁
The american breakfast burger is awesome, this is much better than american burger chain restaurant in California. The patty beef is so juicy and tender. The beacon is very good The portion is very good for male
A great experience! The owner is friendly and generous and is truly all about providing people with delicious, affordable food in a welcoming environment. Gyros and fries were sooooo good. Especially on a beautiful patio weather sort of day. Perfection.
Excellent food and over the top service with authentic Chicago hospitality, btw the all the beef is halal! Ask George for more info on halal and fresh clean meats. The steak and secret menu soup is amazing. They also have a catering menu which we love for our meetings at UCSD
