We came on a Saturday night around 6:30pm. Parking was limited but we were fortunate to find a spot within 5 minutes of driving around. The restaurant was about 3/4 full by the time we arrived. Thankfully we had a reservation so we did not have to wait long for a table. We started off with the Roman Holiday and the Amore. Hats off to the bartender! Both drinks were well made. We ordered the Pera Bruschetta, the Tartufosa (mushroom pasta), and the Short Ribs with mascarpone polenta. They served us their focaccia bread while we waited for our dishes. The bread had a light and fluffy interior with a beautifully textured outer crust. The tomato sauce for dipping was well balanced. The Pera Bruschetta was smaller than I hoped but it was exquisite! The main dishes were equally delicious and perfectly seasoned. The finished off with a Tiramisu prepared tableside. I was intially concerned that the savoiardi would not have enough time to soak up the espresso but the slight crunch that remained was surprisingly good. The service was exceptional. The staff members all seemed to work like a well oiled machine as they bustled around the dining room. I highly recommend this small business and would gladly return!
This is THE BEST Italian place I have ever had in my 22 years of life in San Diego. Antonio/Alberto was the goat, I didn't want to dox my friends but just know we are cheesing hard cuz of the amazing service and food. Must orders: spicy vodka and truffle fettucine. BELLISIMAAA
Amazing cozy spot for HH and dinner! Great specials on their happy hour. We sat on the patio and enjoyed delicious drinks. Attentive service by Ercole checking on us and making sure everything was going well. Very accommodating for our 8 month old as well! Thank you
@trattoria.da.sofia has such a cozy vibe, especially with their cool and charming interior! 🤍 The food was served with an authentic Italian twist and, of course, everything was cooked to perfection. 🙈🇮🇹
Food is great. The Ravioli Di Carne is amazing. Sometimes I just do a pick up order for it and it’s still delicious as take out. They can also make it gluten free upon request and that tastes good too
