Delicious sushi and wonderful service. Had a great meal with big pieces of beautiful fresh fish at very good prices. The folks here were so great. I wish I had a sushi restaurant like this at home.
I found this lovely mom and pop restaurant on the way to the beach and was not disappointed! The cute and unique decorations and great service created the perfect environment for dinner. I’m visiting town but it seems like there’s a lot of locals that visit regularly. Sushi itself is great quality and the chef gives generous portions! Everything was fresh and made to order. If you’re in town and like sushi, stop by and show some love!
This is the best sushi spot in UTC. If you're looking to get away from the crowds at La Jolla Mall or the loud bustling of downtown restaurants, there's nothing better than Ahi's. I've been eating here for the past 5 years and have never regret it. The baked salmon roll is amazing and the toro nigiri is amazing. If I could I would give it a higher rating.
This cozy neighborhood sushi spot is a gem! The mixed tempura was amazingly crispy, and it came in a generous portion. The decor was also super festive, adding to the overall dining experience. .
Had to pull into the parking lot due to car issues, and me and my grandparents and I were hungry, so we walked in. The place itself is very nice and clean. The entire family was working together to make sure that the restaurant was running smoothly and the food tasted good. And to be honest, I loved seeing everyone work together as a family as my family runs a small business as well. Now for the important part, the food! Oh my goodness, it was so good! And the prices were great too!! We just got sushi and the matcha cheese cake. The fish was fresh, and the sushi was definitely well made! Spicy salmon roll 7/10 - great price! (6.50$) - tastes great, wasn't spicy, but it did have a nice little kick to it (only one piece is in the photo LOL) Mango Crunchy roll 9/10 - the mango melts amazingly with the fish and with all the other flavors - it's absolutely delicious, one of the best sushi I've ever had !! Crunchy spicy tuna 8/10 - a great basic sushi! Great for anyone who wants to try something new but stay safe with the classic rolls! (In photo) The tea was amazing btw!
