The Kebab Shop

First time visit. We have heard of the Kebab Shop from friend back home in Brea, so luckily we found a location during our day trip to North San Diego County. Well it did not disappoint. The sauces are great. Try the chili sauce with some garlic yogurt. Wifey had the grilled chicken bowl, and I had the beef and lamb. Will admit hers was better. My beef and lamb was tasty, but the slices were unmanageably long - couldn’t dip them in the sauces. Yes they do have plastic knives, but I was hoping for tenderness. Overall the combination of flavors was great satisfying and the staff was super nice and professional. Restroom was clean as well as the venue. Definitely making it to our rotation. Even though it may be closer in the OC.

This is a solid spot for a quick grab-and-go meal. The food is usually fresh, filling, and reasonably priced. Nothing overly fancy just simple Mediterranean plates and wraps that get the job done. I’ve tried the chicken shawarma, falafel, and beef wrap. The chicken shawarma wrap or plate is definitely my go-to and the item I’d recommend if it’s your first visit. The falafel is decent but can be a little dry at times. The food also tends to be on the salty side depending on the day. The fries are okay not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. Service is usually on point and friendly here. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a satisfying, casual meal, especially if you’re in the college area. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite without breaking the bank.

I've been to other locations and it's safe to say they maintain the standard across all locations!! Came in on a Sunday for lunch and was so excited to eat but I wanted something healthy. We walked in and only waited about 2 minutes in line. The inside had plenty of seating with really nice wall art and photos everywhere. The woman working there took our order and was very patient as we asked questions. She was very kind when she gave me the code to the bathroom too. We ordered a Grains bowl with mixed meats, both chicken and lamb, saffron rice and added romaine lettuce. We also ordered the San Diego wrap and added grilled sirloin steak to it. The grain bowl was so balanced, I added the dill yogurt sauce and the Jalapeño sauce to my bowl which just brought all the flavors together so perfectly. The saffron rice was cooked perfectly also with great flavors the lettuce was crisp, and the red cabbage slaw, picked onions and tomato and cucumber just gave every bite such a fresh taste! It was a perfect meal! The San Diego wrap was well toasted, the fries inside were fresh and the grilled sirloin steak had a nice smokey taste that gave such an authentic flavor to the entire wrap! Overall, just great place! One of my go too's especially when I want to eat clean or show my friends a new spot! I will definitely be back!

Yummmm 😋 Extremely fresh and delicious Mediterranean food 🍲 with so much flavor. The grilled Moroccan shrimp was cooked fresh and humongous! I love jumbo shrimp! The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I love that you can build your own plates and bowls. Perfect portions to fit your appetite. We absolutely loved all our meals! I wish we had The Kebab Shop where we live! We will definitely be back next time we are in your beautiful city! Thanks for a memorable and delicious birthday lunch!

The food and service was great! Vanessa Andy was especially helpful to us seniors. We sure do appreciate her kindness and service. The music is slightly loud, but bearable. Nice tunes. 👍
